How to READ crochet patterns

Crochet instructions/patterns seem like a different language until you break it down.  Below are some common stitches.  In my beginner crochet class you will be given more detailed instruction as well as some take home material which will help you get started.  Once you have gone through a few beginner patterns on your own you will quickly be able to pick up any pattern.  It is just a matter of patience and breaking down each part of the pattern as you go
